Apply, and ask to be checkedThe application takes a few minutes. Ticking the box adds you to the queue for a badge.
Send what can be looked upA phone number we can reach you on, and any qualification, company number or professional membership — with the link or number that proves it. Never a photo of your passport or ID card: we do not accept them and do not store them.
A person checks itSomebody calls or messages the number, opens every link, and looks up anything you registered. It usually takes two to three days.
The badge appears, with its reasonIf it checks out, your listing shows a checked badge and the sentence saying what was actually verified. If something does not add up, you hear why and can send more.

Never send identity documents. We never ask for a passport, driving licence or residency document, and cannot accept one. Nothing that sensitive should sit in a directory's database — and none of it is needed to check that you are real and do the work you say you do.
